Port Crescent State Park

Experience the best of both worlds: woods & beach!

Port Crescent State Park is home to 3 miles of Lake Huron shoreline, 5-miles of hiking trails, beautiful vistas, and plenty of opportunities for bird watching and fishing.

After the sun sets, visit the dark sky preserve – one of only seven in Michigan – for exceptional stargazing. The best viewing location is located near the day-use parking lot, where there is a viewing platform.

This park is family-friendly and ideal for nature lovers and beach-goers. During the day you can traverse the trails, cast a line, play on the beach, or picnic. At night, grab a blanket and gaze up at the night sky for a spectacular view of stars and space.
