Bird Creek Park offers a great picnic and hangout spot for families and friends just around the corner from downtown Port Austin. It features a wooden boardwalk in addition to a splash pad for the kiddos to enjoy. Bird Creek is an ideal place to launch your kayak to view Turnip Rock.

Watch kayakers as they pass by or launch your own kayak to paddle to Turnip Rock. Bird Creek Park is a great place to view the Port Austin Reef Light as well at Lake Huron. Go fishing, play at the park or splash pad, and enjoy a picnic with family and friends.

Facilities
Bird Creek Park features a large wooden boardwalk that spans the perimeter of the park with roofed picnic shelters overlooking the water, a playground, as well as a restroom and shower facility.
