Grant Information
The 2024 Small Business Grant Award Program will provide awards of up to $20,000 to eligible small businesses in Huron & Sanilac Counties to support their growth and development.
Most grant awards will be in the $5,000 to $10,000 range.
Competitive grant program. Grants awarded to the highest scoring applications in each county. ($213,158 max total funding in 2024)
Company must be located, or the company’s owner must reside in Huron or Sanilac County. (See full list of eligibility requirements listed on grant application)
Eligible Uses of Grant Awards
Purchase of equipment, furniture and fixtures, inventory, software and/or hardware, up to $4,999 per unit.
Highly specialized consulting (some exclusions).
Certification or licensing fees/training leading to specific industry certification for employees.
