Waterfront park with much to offer!

Only a short walk from downtown Port Austin, Veteran’s Waterfront Park is a memorial, park, and beach all in one. The park offers much for visitors with its sandy beach, pier overlooking the lake and harbor, and a nice playground and picnic spot.

Features

Take a walk down the iconic pier which wraps around the harbor where you can get a closer look at the Port Austin Reef Light and lake. The beach is quite large and ideal for building sandcastles, swimming, and launching kayaks. There are many amenities throughout the park geared toward families and fitness!

Facilities

This park features many amenities such as a partially enclosed pavilion, bathhouse, playground, pier, and fitness park. Only a short walk from the harbor, welcome center, and downtown Port Austin.
