North Park Campground

Port Crescent State Park
Date: October 19th - October 21st
Location: Port Crescent State Park, 1775 Port Austin Rd
Come on out and enjoy the annual Harvest Festival! This weekend never disappoints with site decorating, scarecrow making, hay rides, costumes, pumpkin carving and so much more! This event is extremely popular so remember to make your reservations early! Rain or shine, have a good time!

Sleeper State Park
Date: October 5th-7th & October 13th-15th
Location: Sleeper State Park, Caseville
Enjoy some fall family fun with Halloween costumes, decorations, and trick-or-treating. There will also be fun crafts, campsite decorating contests and more.

Haunted & Flashlight Corn Mazes - Kohl Farms
Location: Kohl Farms, 3062 Hobart Road, Gagetown, MI 48735
Flashlight Maze: Find your way through the 8-acre maze every Saturday through October from 6 pm to 9 pm. Bring your own flashlight or borrow one of ours.
Haunted Maze: Find your way through the 5-acre haunted maze every Saturday through October from 7 pm to 10 pm. Maze includes scary creatures/monsters.
$10 / person, 16 & under must be accompanied by an adult
Soybean Maze: Perfect for the little ones, they'll also enjoy a jump pad and other scrumptious goodies

23rd Annual Fall Family Days
Date: September 8th-9th from 8 am to 5 pm
Location: Thumb Octagon Barn Agricultural Museum, Gagetown, MI 48735
Step back in time during the 23rd annual Fall Family Days. Through displays and demonstrations, the color and mood of farming in the early 1900’s comes to life. Large flea market and antique vendors and crafters on site.

13th Annual Kinde Polka Festival
Date: September 14th-16th
Location: At the corner of Main Street & Farners Lane
Celebrate the Kinde Polka Fest at the recently constructed “Friends of Kinde Palace” in downtown Kinde. Enjoy tons of live music and dancing, in addition to polish fare and a 5K Walk/Run.
Friday: Country Western & Rock Night from 7:30 pm to 12 am (Cover Charge = $12)
Saturday: Polka Music from 2 pm to midnight
Sunday: Polka Breakfast from 9 am to noon & Polka Music until 6 pm
21st Annual Harvest Festival & Chili Cook-Off
Date: Saturday, September 15th
Location: Downtown Harbor Beach
Harvest Fine Arts Fair on the Frank Murphy Museum lawn, Chili Cook-Off from 11 am to 3 pm - Get a badge for $3 at the visitor center to taste chili and vote for your favorite, pie & dessert contest at 10 am, free live music

Detroit Up North in Port Austin
Date: Friday, September 14th - Sunday, September 16th
Location: Throughout Port Austin, also with an event in Harbor Beach
The 7th Annual Detroit Up North weekend celebration focuses on connecting Detroiters to the beauty of Michigan’s Great Lakes and natural resources. The weekend features euchre tournaments, vendors at the Port Austin Farmers Market, musicians, and artists making the trek 2 hours north.

Fall Musical - Port Austin Community Players
Once Upon a Mattress
Dates: November 2nd-4th and 9th-11th
Friday & Saturday shows are at 7:30 pm and Sunday shows are at 2 pm
If you thought you knew the story of 'The Princess and The Pea,' you may be in for a walloping surprise! Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that Lady Larken's love for Sir Harry provided a rather compelling reason that she reach the bridal altar post haste? Or that, in fact, it wasn't the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are you'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again.

49th Holly Berry Fair

Kick off your Christmas shopping with more than 100 exhibitors, whose displays will include hand-crafted items like jewelry, crafts, dolls, paintings, quilts, wreaths, wooden items and gift baskets. There will also be raffles and bake goods.
