Mini Grants & Professional Development Grants Available

The Minigrant program is a partnership between the MCACA and 15 regional regranting agencies throughout the state. There are two components of the Minigrant program, Arts Projects and Professional Development grants. These are special opportunities to address local arts and cultural needs as well as increasing public access to arts and culture. Arts Projects Minigrants provide up to $4,000 for locally developed, high quality arts and cultural projects. Professional Development Minigrants provide up to $1,500 to assist nonprofit organizations and arts professional acquire services or skills to strengthen the administrative infrastructure of the organization.

To Be Eligible - Applicants are limited to registered non-profit organizations, schools, colleges/universities and municipalities, located in the State of Michigan.  Our region covers - Huron, Sanilac, St. Clair and Tuscola Counties.  Federal and State agencies are NOT eligible to apply.  Applicants with unmet obligations on prior grants - may not apply.  To apply go to mcaca.egrant.net.  Deadline for next year's mini grant cycle is August 3, 2016 for minigrant projects October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017 will be tentatively in August.  For the full grant guidelines for mini grants click here -and for the full grant guidelines for professional development grants click here.  Questions please call our office or to be added to the mailing list for upcoming grant opportunities call the office at 989.269.6431.
